For those of you who are unaware, Cuepop is an excellent resource for getting high quality production music for little or no cost (we are talking $5 or less here). Finding quality production music can be expensive for filmmakers working with limited budgets. With Cuepop, one can find many genres of music for your production including sound effects.
Sometime after 2002, the site was hacked and offline for a few years. It was finally back up last year then hacked again. It is back up and running and Cuepop owner, Evan Evans informed me that all security issues have been addressed and additional backup plans have also been implemented.
The first thing I noticed is the site is 100 times faster than it was before. It still sports a rather outdated layout but it works. I look forward to the future growth of this site. It is such a valuable tool for musicians and filmmakers.
