WTF was this? I spent the entire movie wondering what the movie was about. I should have known it was crap because it won 6 Oscars. What a worthless award. This was bad storytelling, bad acting, bad bad bad camera work... This was just a lame story about a soul-less psychopathic "cancer" going from place to place trying to get people killed. That's pretty much what it boils down to. Why is that interesting? It isn't. And someone needs to scream at the top of their lungs (we all need to in unison) "WE LOVE TRIPODS & STEADICAMS". I'm absolutely sick of shaky shots that are intentional because they think it adds excitement. It doesn't. Neither does using the Zoom. Zoom brings immediate attention to the camera and takes you out of the story that is unfolding before you. Instead viewers are trying to see past your stupid camera mistakes (yes they are mistakes as they always have been!)

A little Low Budget Bullshit but it has its moments. But again... killing the living to save the dead? More Hollywood mental illness on film.

Boo Hoo! More hollywood nonsense depicting the bullied turning into tormentors. How about this... how about they get to a gym and learn to box and then defend themselves when necessary. How about that? Man, I'm sick of this going to the abyss...

Ever since "The Road to El Dorado" I knew I would never let my kids watch any Disney movie and this one just solidifies the decision. Besides this being essentially boring, this kind of story and imagery just has no place among young minds I don't care that it's a story folks have been telling kids for forever. They should stop. There comes a time when a society has to mature and realize when a practice has become obsolete. Telling our kids demented stories to get a message across is obsolete. The only reason this got a "2" is because the cat was so fluffy and cute.

Cute but not entirely remarkable. I loved the dog, he was very adorable. The characters were a bit amusing but overall this was just not your typical awesome Guy Ritchie movie.

This movie was great. I was completely surprised. I watched it not knowing anything about it and it was completely suspenseful and intriguing. The ending was brilliant!

This is another brilliantly filmed movie out of Korea. This movie is just fantastic storytelling, hands down. I'll do a full review at a later date.

There is an awful lot of movies being made about putting strangers in a room an watching them self destruct. This is just another one of them. Awful characters; awful acting; awful story. The end.

Just a little LBB (Low Budget Bullshit). That pretty much sums it up. Shouldn't have been made. Even the title is awful.

Another "African American" movie with no characters African Americans can actually identify with. Being black isn't the only requirement you know? Now that I think about it... it's always been that way. Except "Lackawans Blues" that was outstanding.

This movie was just awful. .. I mean, where do I start? Well I'm not going to. Basically it would appear a screenplay from a Jr high school student who is flunking English was stolen and made into a movie. It's marketing package is straight from the "Species" movies which was a clear indication that it was made by people who are incapable of creative thought. The story is so utterly ridiculous and fragmented (Almost as bad as "Blindness") it's not even in the realm of basic creative writing. The characters are weak and underdeveloped. The whole movie is very "A.I.-ish".

This is one of my top 20 favorite movies. I personally feel this is visual storytelling at its best. This is the first movie I've seen where the pace of the story is driven by age specific time segments and every segment is equally interesting. I've seen many movies attempt this and they all lose momentum as the main character gets older. Not this movie. It is amazing.

This movie was boring but then so is Mel Gibson. He's another individual who needs to play more dignified roles or sit down somewhere. I was also very disturbed by the shocking violence in this movie.

For real? ...No... For real? ... complete with tap dancing black man in cell phone costume! What year is this again? Please remind me because when I was watching this piece of garbage I thought we were back in the days of "black face". And yes, Bruce Willis needs to play dignified roles or sit down somewhere. I'm tired of watching him be a raggedy, dead beat, sociopath in nearly every film.

This was hilarious, long, and sad. I love it. :) This film a great blend of obvious and subtle humor. After setting a light an funny tone for most of the film, the mood changed to sadness and despair. It makes me chuckle to think about the "super" drama I'm find to be quite refreshing in Asian movies. One minute I was laughing hysterically, the next minute, I was crying like a 2 year old. That's good storytelling!

I should have suspected this was going to be terrible; the reviews were good. I wish this rating system had a 0, a 1 isn't low enough. I'm so sick of movies where black women wish they were white. This movie was a destroyed copy of The Color Purple and I'm equally sick of the most terrible stories and concepts being brought to life on screen and even more sick that we don't even win in our own fantasies. Nothing but Cancer going on here. Get out of here with this "fall on your own knife" foolishness. It's a new day.

This movie didn't get funny until they went to Kung Fu Island towards the end of the movie and then it was so funny, I thought I'd burst from laughing. Making this movie was a tough decision because Blaxploitation movies are already funny even tough I suspect they weren't trying to be. :) This film also had a beautiful color treatment and overall was an excellent production. The music however, sounded like cheap stock though.

What a horrible, horrible, horrible movie. There is so much wrong with it but I think it's time to say to Western culture "It is time to officially graduate from elementary school and move on from all of these alien themes". I'm pretty positive that there are no aliens anywhere that care about us. Stop it! With that having been said.... This movie started off really well. I was intrigued. I really wanted to know what the little weird girl was up to. Turns out to be nothing worthwhile. Long story short (and I don't give a damn about spoiling this one for you) Weird girl hears alien voices, she writes down a bunch of numbers on paper which is put in a time capsule. Some egghead's son gets it 50 years later when they dig up the capsule. Egghead figures out that the numbers are all major disasters that have or are going to happen and the last one is the end of the world. Lame. Then he figures out through more foolishness that it's because there is going to be a solar flare that kills everything on the planet. Fun. Throughout all this, aliens keep stalking his son. In the end, he figures out the place the aliens will land, goes there and the aliens come to take the kids. Dad can't come, just the kids. Stupid. There is some bullshit hesitation then the son and this other insignificant little girl go with the aliens. Weak. Aliens fly them away and drop them off on some fantasy planet. End. If this plug-in had an option to give this movie a zero rating, that is what it would have. Oh yeah and the dad burns up with his parents.

This is almost as terrible as "Knowing" but not quite. First of all, I am absolutely sick and tired of the same stories over and over and over again. And I'm sick and tired of these stories where one group/species or whatever is badly treated and in their own self hate tries to identify with their abusers and the abuser spends the entire movie being a self-center psychopath and then somehow becomes a hero. It's again evident that Hollywood has run out of storytellers and is now turned what was an art form into complete garbage. This movie got a rating of 2 because of the little alien son behaved like a brain powered being the entire time and truly added some level of worth to the film. His dad was ok too but nothing amazing. I also admit the psychopath who kept on until that suit was nearly shredded gained a little respect back for his efforts but nothing more. One must not forget what he was at the start of the movie which is who he would have continued to be had he not been transformed.

Was this not the most ridiculous movie you've ever seen (for those who have seen it)? I felt like I was in a non-stop therapy session. There was nothing but crying and emotional outbursts and moody, girly conversation. My goodness! After all of that PMS talk from a trench full of men, they just started walking across a field like fools, getting shot up. How can one proclaim themselves to be an advanced civilization and not be smart enough to realize, walking towards your enemy out in the open as they are firing at you, hoping "some of you" will make it, is as amoeba-like as you can get. :)
